LEGO Icons 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger officially revealed

The LEGO Group is heading back to Springfield a decade after its last visit with 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger, which arrives on shelves next month.

Unveiled today, the 1,635-piece set picks up where 2014’s 71006 The Simpsons House and 2015’s 71016 Kwik-E-Mart left off, complete with seven minifigures that follow the same stylistic approach as the original LEGO Simpsons characters. Homer, Bart and Lisa all return from previous sets and Collectible Minifigures series – with a new torso print for Homer – while Officer Lou, Squeaky-Voiced Teen and Sideshow Bob all make their debut.

They’re rounded out by a unique new variant of Krusty the Clown based on his outfit from the Season 20 episode ‘Coming to Homerica’. Together these characters populate Springfield’s most iconic fast food restaurant, which is presented in 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger as a fully-enclosed building that can swing open dollhouse-style to reveal a detailed interior flush with Easter eggs and references to the show.

The set also includes a large Krusty Burger sign that looks to be covered in stickers (a trend that appears to be felt across every inch of this model, at least from scrutinising the official product imagery) and the clown-themed sedan from Season 6’s Homie the Clown. The building stands 23cm tall, 24cm wide and 20cm deep.

You’ll be able to get your hands on 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger from June 1 if you’re signed up to the LEGO Insiders program (or June 4 if not) for £179.99 / $209.99 / €199.99. If you order your copy between June 1 and 7, you’ll receive a free The Simpsons Living Room gift-with-purchase (while stocks last).

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
