LEGO 2K Drive reveals details of post-launch season pass content

Ahead of the game’s imminent launch this month, the full details of LEGO 2K Drive’s post-launch season pass content have been revealed.

LEGO 2K Drive will be racing onto the horizon very soon, with some versions of the game launching on May 16. That’s not too long to wait for the first licensed LEGO title from developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K, one that has the potential to be a real winner.

LEGO 2K Drive looks set to be packed with numerous modes, fun challenges, multiplayer mayhem and even the ability to create and customise your own cars – then share them online with other players. In addition, two versions of LEGO 2K Drive also come with access to the Year 1 Drive Pass, a selection of post-launch content that’s now been revealed in detail.

The official LEGO 2K Drive website states that four Drive Pass Seasons will be available to those who purchase the Awesome Edition or Awesome Rivals Edition of the game. Each Season will boast 100 levels for players to tackle, allowing them to earn Free Rewards as they level up and unlock a range of new drivers, stickers, flair, sounds and more.

Season 1 is due to be available June 2023, followed by Season 2 in the Fall 2023, Season 3 in Winter 2023 and Season 4 in Spring 2024. Those who purchase the Premium versions of each Season separately will gain access to the Awesome Pizza Vehicle and 550 Coins to use in Unkie’s Emporium. The good news is that all of that content is also available to those who buy the Awesome Edition or Awesome Rivals Edition of the game.

In addition, it’s been revealed that LEGO 2K Drive Season won’t have any time limits, allowing players to race through them at their own pace. Gamers who have been playing through the Free version of a Season and decide to upgrade to the Premium Drive Pass will also be eligible to unlock all of the Premium rewards earned in their current level.

LEGO 2K Drive is due to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on May 19 (Standard Edition), or May 16 (Awesome Edition and Awesome Rivals Edition). Click here to find out more about the game, or here to check out all the various versions and pre-order bonuses.
