LEGO 40639 Bird’s Nest model confirmed for February 2023

A previously unseen and brand-new LEGO model will be launching on February 1, 2023 in the shape of 40639 Bird’s Nest.

Reveals of multiple new LEGO sets for 2023 continue today, with confirmation of a set that hasn’t been seen until now. Arriving on February 1 will be 40639 Bird’s Nest, a 232-piece model that should make a charming gift for both spring and Easter.

The build features a brick-built nest primarily constructed from brown LEGO elements and decorated with a flowering branch. Placed on top are an orange and grey mama bird, plus two small chicks and three brightly-coloured Easter eggs.

The birds and eggs can be removed from the nest and repositioned as required and all three birds have moveable wings, allowing for a small degree of poseability. The nest, without the birds, measures 7 cm high, 19 cm wide and 12 cm in length, whilst the mama bird stands 5 cm tall and 11 cm from beak to tail.

40639 Bird’s Nest will be launching online and in-stores on February 1, 2023 priced at $12.99. There’s no word yet from the LEGO Group regarding potential pricing for the UK and Europe territories.
