LEGO 40678 Festival Calendar listed on LEGO.com

Another possible LEGO Chinese Traditional Festivals set has been discovered on the official online store, offering a way to keep track of the year.

40678 Festival Calendar has surfaced on LEGO.com’s instructions page with set numbering and the name suggesting that it may be another Chinese Traditional Festivals model.

Usually, sets with ‘festival’ in the name are commonly released under the Chinese Traditional Festivals line. LEGO models with ‘406’ in the numbering are traditionally promotional models too, of which the Chinese Traditional Festivals Line shares some of its sets. However, there’s still no guarantee that 40678 Festival Calendar is a Chinese Traditional Festivals set at this time.

However, it has been added to the instructions page close to the addition of another model that is almost certainly a Chinese Traditional Festivals set.

The listing posits 40678 Festival Calendar’s release year as 2024, so we may not see it on shelves before the new year. Other information including piece count, prices and contents are unconfirmed at this time.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
