LEGO 40681 Retro Food Truck officially revealed

A new LEGO gift-with-purchase has been revealed in the form of 40681 Retro Food Truck, designed to pair well with 10326 Natural History Museum.

A listing for 40681 Retro Food Truck has been added to LEGO.com, likely ahead of its impending release. Though it has a value of £21.99 / $24.95, it is confirmed that this model is an upcoming GWP.

40681 Retro Food Truck features 310 pieces with two minifigures. As well as a small sign, most of the piece count goes towards the food truck with a detailed interior using the available space to fit in all kinds of snacks and drinks ready for purchase. A court at the back offers a place to rest your food ready to eat or add condiments.

This model was previously spotted in images for 10326 Natural History Museum but it was previously known how it would be available. Now that the new modular building is available alongside this listing, we can be certain that it’s not a cancelled part of the museum modular.

Concrete details of its price threshold and available dates have yet to be confirmed but given its size, it may have a higher price threshold to pass.

There are plenty of LEGO sets launching in a matter of days at least, so reaching a higher total shouldn’t be difficult whenever 40681 Retro Food Truck is available.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
