LEGO Ideas 40786 Micro Command Centre now available

The latest LEGO Ideas set is now available only to LEGO Insiders with an increased points cost as 40786 Micro Command Centre is finally out.

After a few issues before its intended release on March 1, which resulted in a cost increase from 2,000 LEGO Insiders points to 2,250 points, 40786 Micro Command Centre is now available on the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre.

Those with £14 worth of points to hand (after spending just over £280 on LEGO sets in official stores or on LEGO.com with a LEGO Insiders account) can pick up the newest LEGO Ideas set following the recent launch of 21355 The Evolution of STEM.

With 214 pieces, it is based on the winning entry in the LEGO ‘Exploring the Cosmos’ design contest – Flying UFO’s Micro Rail Command Center. The official design scales down the proposed model and replaces the rollercoaster track with a brick-built equivalent, maintaining the functionality.

Any LEGO Insiders with 2,250 points to spare can pick up the model now by redeeming it on the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre, and be aware that you’ll need to make a purchase of some kind to add it to an existing order. The March 1, 2025, releases should be useful for this task.
