Inside the box builders will find a brick-based homage to the iconic castle seen at the start of all Disney films, one that manages to pack all sorts of magical moments into its interior. 43222 Disney Castle also includes eight minifigures of various princess and partner characters, many of which are exclusive to the massive set.
Speaking of the box, the official listing for 43222 Disney Castle also reveals that a special Disney 100 Collector’s Edition of the model will be available. Initial details state that the set will come in exclusive packaging for a ‘limited time,’ although it’s not yet known if the accompanying image represents that specific look. It’s also not yet known how long the Collector’s Edition will be available for, potentially making initial copies of the LEGO Disney set an even more tempting purchase.
43222 Disney Castle launches July 1 for VIP members and will be priced at £344.99 / $399.99 / €399.99, before getting a wider release at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores on July 4. All LEGO Disney purchases above £95 / $100 / €100 will get a free 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration GWP set from July 1 to 9, while stocks last.
