LEGO 60 years of the brick pencil holder coming to Taiwan

A new LEGO promotional item linked to 60 years of the brick has been revealed.

In a Facebook post, the LEGO Group has revealed a new item that has been reported by PromoBricks. It is a buildable pencil and phone holder, touted as a limited edition. It is built in the shape of a LEGO brick, with space for pencils, a smaller section for erasers and a clip to keep the phone in place. The pencils and erasers themselves are probably not included.

This promotion will be available at LEGO Stores in Taiwan, starting on July 6 and running until August 19, or while stocks last. To get the free item, fans will need to spend 2,800 Taiwanese dollars in store, approximately €80.

No word has come through before on this set and its worldwide availability, but in this era of LEGO promotions, it is very rare for any item not to make it to all market. It may be that this will show up around the world in other LEGO Stores, and there has just not been an announcement yet.

More details will be shared as soon as they are available.
