LEGO 71031 Marvel Studios opens doors for second Marvel team MOC

Now that we’re all able to take home 71031 Marvel Studios, it’s easier than ever to get your hands on a hairpiece to build a second Marvel dream team.

At £3.99 per minifigure, 71031 Marvel Studios is a wallet-friendly way to get your hands on some unique minifigure elements. In particular, one reddit user, hawkeye7269, noticed that they could recreate a second Marvel team using the hairpiece from Gamora with the Blade of Thanos.

The hairpiece itself includes a pink streak, reflecting Gamora’s dyed hair from the MCU. For hawkeye7269, it also gave them the perfect part to complete their MOC line-up of The Defenders, featuring Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Daredevil. These four came together in the eponymous TV show from Marvel that revived the classic comic book storyline.

If you’re keen to create the crime-fighting gang for yourself, the purple-streaked hairpiece is the perfect way to blend Jessica’s all-black hair from the TV show and the purple hair she’s known for in the original comics.
