LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle is back at LEGO.com
Blink and you’ll miss it, but LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle is back in stock at LEGO.com following several weeks of unavailability.
The 4,080-piece ode to the House of Mouse has proved so perennially popular since launching in 2016 that it’s still afflicted by inventory issues online, which is surely a contributing factor to its evergreen presence in the LEGO Group’s wider portfolio.
According to Brick Fanatics’ sources, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon, either – at least permanently – as it’s currently scheduled to retire by the end of 2022. Just how long this particular stock replenishment will last at LEGO.com is another question entirely, though, so best act fast if you’re keen to pick it up soon.
Alongside its enormous interpretation of the Magic Kingdom icon, 71040 The Disney Castle packs in five minifigures – including the exclusive (and highly-sought-after) Tinkerbell. It’s a great package for £299.99 / $349.99 / €349.99, and is actually available across the UK, US and Europe at the time of writing.
If it’s dropped back out of stock in the UK or US by the time you read this story, don’t fret: just sign up to our email alerts and we’ll drop you a notification when it returns to LEGO.com. For now, 71040 The Disney Castle is back online, and back in Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets List.

I really want to buy this for my fiancé for Christmas, would you advise to grab now? Was hoping for a slightly lower price but OOS everywhere. I’m assuming shops like Disney store/zavvi won’t be getting the set back?
