LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle is back

It was back, it sold out, but now it is back again – the 4,080 piece LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle is once again in stock for fans to order.

Arguably this year’s hottest set from the back catalogue, 71040 The Disney Castle has struggled to stay in stock at LEGO.com. It only recently came back and sold out again, but now fans who thought they had missed out can order the incredibly 4,080 piece Disney icon.

Based on the location at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, 71040 The Disney Castle captures the Magic Kingdom icon in the brick. It includes five minifigures – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Tinker Bell. The mischievous pixie is only available in this one box.

71040 is such a special set in the LEGO range that it has attracted the attention of celebrity enthusiasts David Beckham and Jade Thirwall – and more importantly made the number two spot on the Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets List.

The Disney theme has continued this year with 43179 Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Buildable Characters bringing the magic to the brick in a different way.
