LEGO Star Wars 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor revealed

The LEGO Group has finally lifted the lid on possibly the worst-kept LEGO Star Wars secret in recent memory, officially unveiling 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor.

It’s seemingly been popping up at stores in the US for well over a week, with multiple redditors reporting being able to buy the set ahead of its release date, but 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor is now finally listed at LEGO.com, too. That means we’ve got full international pricing and a confirmed release date for the 957-piece set, which is inspired by The Mandalorian Season 3.

As expected, 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor launches on May 1 (alongside six other LEGO Star Wars sets) for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. You’ll find four minifigures in the box, including Din Djarin, a Mandalorian Fleet Commander, a TIE Pilot and R2-E6, alongside two opposing ships – one of which is our first minifigure-scale Imperial TIE Interceptor since 2006.

Din comes readily equipped with his Darksaber, which makes this your first opportunity to pick up the new piece ahead of August’s 75361 Spider Tank. 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor will join another The Mandalorian Season 3 set, 75346 Pirate Snub Fighter, on shelves next month.

The biggest news here? From May 1, you’ll be able to buy a LEGO TIE Fighter, TIE Bomber and TIE Interceptor all at the same time. That’s a genuine first for the LEGO Star Wars theme, nearly 25 years in.
