LEGO 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck back in stock with double VIP points

LEGO 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck is back in stock online, just in time for double VIP points – but you’ll probably need to act fast if you want it.

The LEGO Group’s first-ever set in partnership with PlayStation (and Guerrilla Games, the developers behind the Horizon franchise) has proven difficult to come by since launching in May, which is no real surprise given just how great it is. This is a rare opportunity to pick it up directly from LEGO.com – and with double VIP points to boot.

You’ve got just two more days to make the most of the latest double VIP points event, which is equivalent to 10% cashback on all orders (in the form of points to spend on future purchases). You’ll need to be signed up to the LEGO Group’s loyalty program to take advantage, so make sure to check out our primer on the VIP scheme if you’re not already au fait with it.

There’s no guaranteeing 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck will hang around as long, though, so you may want to make a beeline for it as soon as possible. The 1,222-piece display set includes an imposing, intelligent and unique build in its massive, eponymous machine, alongside a tiny Watcher, an incredibly-detailed Aloy minifigure and a slice of post-apocalyptic terrain on which to display it all.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
