LEGO Animal Crossing, Star Wars and Harry Potter BrickHeadz rumoured for 2024
More LEGO BrickHeadz rumours are rolling in for 2024, suggesting we’ll see more buildable statues for Star Wars and Harry Potter – along with the first characters for a brand new theme.
Initial listings over at brickmerge.de have painted a murky picture of what to expect from the LEGO BrickHeadz theme in 2024, which will seemingly continue to soldier on with more statuettes of iconic characters. And brick_clicker has now ratified those reports with more details on select listings – and the first word on a couple of characters not already mentioned by Brickmerge.
According to brick_clicker, 40672 – originally listed as ‘gaming’ – will be a double-pack of Sonic the Hedgehog characters, building on September’s 40627 Sonic the Hedgehog and 40628 Miles “Tails” Prower. Exactly who those two statues will depict is up in the air, but credible candidates could be Amy, Knuckles and Dr. Eggman (with one eye on the minifigure-scale Sonic the Hedgehog sets released this month).
40675 Star Wars, meanwhile, is said to be a six-pack of characters retailing for around $55. That would be the most characters from a galaxy far, far away in a single box so far, trumping even this year’s 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes. Given that set launched for Return of the Jedi’s 40th anniversary, it’s not inconceivable to think we might get a pack full of The Phantom Menace characters for its 25th anniversary in 2024.
Continuing its new LEGO BrickHeadz ‘go big or go home’ mantra, 40677 Harry Potter will apparently include five different characters for $50. Again, this rumour doesn’t get any more specific, but previous Wizarding World BrickHeadz have tackled neat sets of characters: professors, villains, the main trio (and Hagrid) and so on. A five-pack could therefore bundle together a group of students, for example, or even members of the Order of the Phoenix.
Finally, brick_clicker claims that two more LEGO BrickHeadz sets not listed at Brickmerge will debut in March 2024, both tied to the rumoured new LEGO Animal Crossing theme. 40666 and 40667 are both said to be hooked to the Nintendo property, though how much they’ll cost, their piece counts and any specific characters they might depict have yet to be reported.

Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
