Details on dozens of new LEGO sets for 2024 are already surfacing online, so here’s a complete round-up of everything said to be coming our way next year.
We’ve barely scratched the surface on August 2023, but already we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the LEGO Group’s product range in the first half of 2024. Details on themes new, old and recent have surfaced online, pointing to another broad spectrum of sets landing on shelves to continue to eat up our disposable income. You know the routine by now.
The list below has been assembled through sources including price comparison site brickmerge.de, Instagram users 1414falconfan, brick_clicker and exabrickslegogo_, and Promobricks. While all of those sources have proven previously reliable, you should still treat the information here with a degree of scepticism: some details may change between now and release, while others could be off the mark entirely.
LEGO Animal Crossing 2024 sets
The first (and so far only) new theme rumoured to be on the way in 2024 is LEGO Animal Crossing, which would be the second fruit of the LEGO Group’s partnership with Nintendo (after LEGO Super Mario). A list of five mystery sets first appeared on brickmerge.de, before multiple sources suggested the new theme will be based around the social simulation game – and include minifigures with specially-moulded heads.

LEGO Art 2024 sets
Only one LEGO Art set is currently listed for 2024, and it’s closer in size and price to this summer’s 31210 Modern Art than January’s 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave. That piece count suggests it won’t be a traditional mosaic, either, so the theme could once again be going in an entirely different direction.

LEGO City 2024 sets
Despite a brief pivot to new and interesting concepts in this summer’s sets, it sounds like the LEGO City theme will be returning to the roots of its modern success in 2024. That means fire and police are back on the menu, although among those are a fun throwback to 2016’s 60130 Prison Island, so all’s not lost. Creativity is once again the order of the day for LEGO Classic in 2024, with four different sets serving up boxes of bricks with which to build animals, houses, vehicles and ‘space planets’. (Probably just planets.) Expect plenty of colourful elements with attractive price-per-piece ratios.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures 2024 sets
Three new LEGO Collectible Minifigures series are rumoured to be on the way in 2024, which is pretty much par for the course. The first of those is said to be an in-house range in 71045 Series 25. Again, standard stuff. But more intriguing is the second series in May, which is currently tagged with one word: Space. Will it be a greatest hits of Classic Space? A line-up of 12 astronauts in new colours? Or could it be a codename for a licensed theme? Time will tell.

Creator 3-in-1 looks to be getting even more wacky and wonderful in 2024, leaning into the success of animal sets like 31129 Majestic Tiger and 31136 Exotic Parrot with an entire safari in the one box. Next year’s LEGO Icons slate includes four sets so far, all of which are under €79.99. Bad news for LEGO Speed Champions collectors: next year will reportedly bring fewer sets at higher prices, which is not a combination anyone wants to see. LEGO Spidey and His Amazing Friends 2024 sets
LEGO Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends subtheme must be doing pretty well with its target audience, as the 4+ range is due to continue in 2024. Three new sets are said to be on the way, and based on what we know of the show’s future, potential characters across these sets include Arnim Zola, Lockjaw and the Fantastic Four’s The Thing.

LEGO Star Wars 2024 sets
It’s all change for LEGO Star Wars in 2024, as rumours suggest helmets are out and midi-scale ships are in. Elsewhere, we’re now only thought to be getting a single diorama next year – although it’s at least something new and different, recreating the Boonta Eve Podrace from The Phantom Menace on the film’s 25th anniversary. That battle pack is also said to include up to 10 minifigures, some of which are Super Battle Droids, while 75382 TIE Interceptor will reportedly be our UCS set for May the 4th 2024.

devastated, was hoping to see a follow up to optimus prime, maybe a trailer or a bumblebee that would fit into a later trailer. Any of those 2 would of been purchased by me upon release but it sadly looks like no lego for me jn 2024. I was absolutely stoked when optimus was released.
