LEGO Art is getting a makeover in 2025

The latest LEGO 2025 set reveal has confirmed a makeover for LEGO Art next year, shifting the identity of the theme away from its origins.

While LEGO Art first started with purely mosaic-based models and has since been shifting its focus from them to sculptures and other styles of artwork including 31213 Mona Lisa and the newly revealed 31214 LOVE. Mosaics are still a part of the theme for now, as seen in 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave, but it’s safe to say that the theme is no longer about just mosaics.

In light of this transformation, the theme is getting a stylish new logo next year with a much simpler design. As spotted on the bottom left of 31214 LOVE‘s box, the older circle-filled letter design is shifting to a lowercase logo with a suggestion of a frame around its edge.

It’s a considerable change for the theme’s identity as it appears to be shifting away from its mosaic origins, instead adopting a modern aesthetic that is better suited to any artwork.

The new logo will debut on the box of 31214 LOVE and you can click here to take a closer look at the latest 2025 set reveal. It’s a similar change to that of the LEGO Botanical Collection, which seems to be changing to just LEGO Botanicals according to a polybag and new books.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
