LEGO Beauty and the Beast piece needs to return for rumoured castle
A $300 LEGO Disney set rumoured for later this year and theorised to be based on Beauty and the Beast needs to bring back a unique element.
A recent rumour for a $300 Disney set from Redditor Clay_Bricks and the accompanying theories that it may be a Beauty and the Beast Castle recreation could be the chance to bring back not one, but two minifigures and their corresponding prints. As we noted earlier today, Belle’s first minifigure in 21352 Magic of Disney as well as Gaston’s minifigure from the retired 43227 Villain Icons would fit perfectly in such a set with no necessary changes.
Alongside Lumiere, Cogsworth and the rest of the furniture characters – who have all been brick-built previously – there’s just one Beauty and the Beast character missing from the minifigure line-up that would be right at home in a massive model of the castle. Beast has only ever been depicted as a mini-doll and BrickHeadz, but thankfully most of the work to transform him into a minifigure has already been done.

Beast in past sets has made use of an exclusive moulded head piece with printing to capture the fine details. The Beast head element was last seen in 2021’s 43196 Belle and the Beast’s Castle and has always featured eyes in the distinct mini-doll style. While it has been missing for four years, the LEGO Group is known to bring back older elements and it would need only minor changes to the printing to fit a minifigure perfectly.

JongoFett12 on Reddit is one step ahead of the rumours and speculation, already proving that the Beast head can be placed onto a minifigure torso. Pairing this idea with the new Belle minifigure and Gaston would make for a perfect minifigure collection for a massive LEGO Beauty and the Beast set.
Take everything you’ve read in this report with a pinch of salt for now as only a $300 Disney set is rumoured (and to be taken with caution), but the word that this is a Beauty and the Beast castle is speculation based on theories and teases. Considering the recent minifigures across LEGO Ideas and Disney though, it’s starting to make more sense.
