LEGO Botanicals sets might be a bit too convincing

The LEGO Botanicals sets are more lifelike than expected, even tricking the natural world itself into thinking the plastic plants are real.

LEGO Botanicals expanded relatively recently with the affordable 10347 Petite Sunny Bouquet, and many have picked up and displayed the small bouquet in their home, including justdont7133 on Reddit. Upon displaying the LEGO flowers in their home, though, they weren’t the only fans of the set.

As they have managed to quickly catch on camera, a bee was tricked into thinking the LEGO flowers were real, but they’re going to struggle to get any nectar or pollen from the pink gerbera in 10347 Petite Sunny Bouquet.

It’s going to be hard to find a more suitable seal of approval for LEGO flowers than from a bee, and rest assured that the hard worker was directed to some real flowers in the user’s garden, as they detail in the comments.

10347 Petite Sunny Bouquet is available now for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99. A more recent pair of LEGO Botanicals models launched earlier this month, and one of them has been especially popular.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
