LEGO BrickLink Series 5 final designs showcased early
The BrickLink team seem to have revealed the final designs for all five LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 sets early at an event.
Solvang Brick & Builds 2025 is currently underway in Solvang, California, and the BrickLink team is in attendance. They’ve marked the occasion by updating the official BrickLink Instagram account’s stories, including five familiar models with some unfamiliar twists.
After teasers for final designs for two of the five Series 5 LEGO BrickLink Designer Program sets last month, all five final builds appear to have been showcased online, and are on display at the California event. Small but notable differences between the pitched models and these versions indicate that the final designs have been revealed early, ahead of the May 1, 2025, reveal event.
Adventure in Transylvania
Pieces: 4,000 Minifigures: 13 Stickers: 9 Designer: SleeplessNight

SleeplessNight’s Adventure in Transylvania appears to have undergone few changes, but the young girl minifigure has a different torso than was proposed. ?The flagpole on the left is also much shorter now, and the skull on the ground to the right has been removed entirely. Otherwise, the stunning architectural details have remained the same, but some of the finer wall details that are hidden when the model is unfolded have been removed, likely to ensure that the model can open and close correctly.
Antique Shop
Pieces: 1,912 Minifigures: 5 Stickers: 7 Designer: ThatOneGuySteve

As mentioned in our previous report, the minifigures in ThatOneGuySteve’s Antique Shop have changed, a sticker has been modified with a taller and clearer design, and now we can see that the new pram element has been included in the set instead of a brick-built pram. Most notably, the rear wheel arch on the truck now uses a more current element.
Mushroom Village
Pieces: 2,427 Minifigures: 7 Stickers: 0 Designer: JonasKramm

JonasKramm is surprisingly similar to the proposed design, save for one notable build to the right. The sign pointing to the Mushroom House is now displayed on the right rather than the left. An extra minifigure with a blond ponytail has been added too, but otherwise it would appear that JonasKramm nailed the design.
Popcorn Wagon
Pieces: 577 Minifigures: 2 Stickers: 3 Designer: Mictur

Mictur’s Popcorn Wagon was teased previously, but this closer look confirms that this is an updated design for the set, now with one extra elderly minifigure. The young girl’s hairstyle has been updated, too. There are no major changes to note with the build, though we can’t see the extra broom accessory unless it’s inside the wagon.
The Thieves of Tortuga
Pieces: 3,998 Minifigures: 10 Stickers: 2 Designer: Krackenator

Krackenator’s The Thieves of Tortuga has few changes to note, but we can tell that this is an updated design, thanks to the tube element with hanging banners stretched between two buildings. The small boat now has a decorated flag in place of the red flag piece instead. It’s challenging to tell whether any of the minifigures have been modified at this stage. Thankfully, the full reveal event is less than a month away.

I’m not sure if I’m interested in these sets now. I was keen on the two larger sets but they have been changed in a way that’s taken the appeal from them. Guess i would need to see more images to finally decide.
Tortuga Fishing shop seems to have undergone changes. The hanging shark is replaced with a sort of crane and the base of it has changed. The window also has been replaced with an open hatch. There are also at least 3 minifigure changes I can see, including two that look to have some sort of uniform (including the one in the boat). The shape of the sail also looks slightly different.
Good eye! I can’t believe that it somehow got even better.
