LEGO BrickLink Series 8 final designs and prices revealed

LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 is almost here, with LEGO now confirming final images and pricing for all five fan-designed sets.

Fans will have from June 9 to June 18 to support the projects during the crowdfunding phase, although some may sell out before then. As with previous waves, each build must reach 3,000 pre-orders to enter manufacturing, while overall production will scale dynamically based on demand, with up to 30,000 copies available per model.

The eighth series once again delivers a varied mix of community-created models, and here’s a closer look at all five designs confirmed for the latest round.

Brick Railroad Locomotive

Price: £109.99 / $119.99 / €119.99 Crowdfunding date: June 9, 2026 Designer: TRBricks

TRBricks’ Brick Railroad Locomotive is a classic American diesel train inspired by locomotives from the 1950s to 1970s. The 1,428-piece model uses Technic components to support motorisation, though motors are not included.

The streamlined blue-and-yellow locomotive is also compatible with modern LEGO train curves, making it one of the more play-friendly entries.

Coconut Cape

Price: £189.99 / $209.99 / €209.99 Crowdfunding date: June 9, 2026 Designer: BallisticBricks

BallisticBricks’ Coconut Cape returns after previously appearing in an earlier BrickLink Designer Program series, now refined with structural improvements and a reduced part count.

The pirate-themed fortress hides buried treasure beneath its walls while serving as a defensive outpost overlooking the sea. The redesign reportedly improves stability while preserving the original appearance and pirate-inspired details.

Dustmark Keep

Price: £319.99 / $349.99 / €349.99 Crowdfunding date: June 9, 2026 Designer: brickhucker

Dustmark Keep is the largest fantasy-inspired build in Series 8, depicting a sprawling desert fortress run by a ruthless bounty hunter guild.

At exactly 4,000 pieces, the massive stronghold includes towering sandstone architecture and detailed interiors. The set also ties into an original fantasy narrative centred on the Serpent faction and Horse Knights.

University of Science

Price: £329.99 / $359.99 / €359.99 Crowdfunding date: June 9, 2026 Designer: KingCreations

KingCreations’ University of Science is one of the most ambitious BrickLink Designer Program sets yet, and the heaviest BDP model ever produced at 4.7 kilograms.

The near-4,000-piece university opens and closes for display, stretching over one metre wide when unfolded. Inside are rooms themed around astronomy, geology, chemistry, anatomy and archaeology, alongside lecture halls and libraries.

Hot Air Balloon

Price: £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99 Crowdfunding date: June 9, 2026 Designer: ExeSandbox

Series 8’s smallest and most affordable project is ExeSandbox’s colourful Hot Air Balloon.

The 876-piece build features a fully brick-built balloon with gradient colouring, a cloud display base and a small flying scene with seagulls, a pilot minifigure and a dog companion. Builders can also assemble the set in two different colour schemes using the included elements.
