LEGO Bricktober 5005254 Harry Potter at Barnes & Noble

The new LEGO Bricktober set, 5005254 Harry Potter, is priced at just $7.99 at Barnes & Noble, where it has started showing up in the USA.

Originally planned as a Toys R Us exclusive, LEGO Bricktober 5005254 Harry Potter is now exclusive to Barnes & Noble in the USA. According to the Brick Fan, it is not part of a promotion, but available to buy. That is exceptionally good value, given that it contains four exclusive minifigures from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

A previous version of this article stated the price of the set at $7.99; Barnes & Noble has contacted to Brick Fanatics to confirm that the set is not being sold for $7.99 in Barnes & Noble stores.

Four characters are included in this new Harry Potter set – Madam Hooch, Horace Slughorn, Dolores Umbridge and Professor Snape (Boggart). Fans who are collecting Potterverse characters in the Collectible Minifigures line and the sets will want to track this box down to complete the line-up.

The rest of the sets, 5005255 Jurassic World minifigures, 5005257 NINJAGO minifigures and 5005256 Marvel Super Heroes minifigures, are expected to be exclusive to LEGO Stores and shop.LEGO.com.

In Germany, a Bricktober box will be free with any LEGO purchases totalling €40 or more at Toys R Us, or will be available to purchase for €14.99. The Harry Potter set will be available from August 27 until September 2.

The LEGO Harry Potter sets are available now at shop.LEGO.com. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released in cinemas on November 16.
