LEGO Build a Minifigure offers a sporting summer line-up

This summer’s LEGO Build a Minifigure selection is going all-in on sports-themed characters, with seven new faces competing for collectors’ attention.

We now have a first look at the full LEGO Build a Minifigure line-up due to arrive on June 1, 2026, courtesy of twogayafols on Instagram. Next month’s offerings all focus on various sports-related activities, tentatively tying into a number of major upcoming events taking place this summer.

The latest LEGO Build a Minifigure selection is set to include a Scuba Girl, Football Referee, Equestrian Girl, Baseball Captain, Basketball Champion, Sumo Wrestler and Cyclist, all of which come with their own themed accessories.

For instance, the Football Referee has a portable VAR screen, Equestrian Girl can be seen holding a horse brush, the Basketball Champion, Sumo Wrestler each have gold trophies and the Cyclist comes with a thirst-quenching water bottle.

Taking a closer look at the LEGO Build a Minifigure range for June 2026 also reveals some impressive head and torso printing on display, although the Sumo Wrestler is the only one to benefit from leg printing this time around, and the Equestrian Girl and Cyclist both have dual-moulded legs.

What’s more, the Football Referee could easily make for a welcome addition to a number of recent LEGO Editions sets, while the Basketball Champion would fit right in as an extra player in a couple of related LEGO Nike models

You’ll be able to check out all of the new LEGO Build a Minifigure characters and elements when they become available from LEGO Stores once June 1 rolls around.
