LEGO City 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck now available for pre-order
Thanks to a long-awaited official reveal, pre-orders are now open for the upcoming LEGO City 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck.
Fans of the LEGO City theme recently got their first look at 11 new sets due to launch on June 1, 2024, with this year’s advent calendar then arriving September 1. The line-up of models making their debut next month include a number of vehicles, some of which tie in with this summer’s jungle sub-theme, although one wheeled build has been missing from official listings until now.
60440 LEGO Delivery Truck is finally available for pre-order from LEGO.com and may also be a third-party exclusive, as evidenced by a recent listing by Smyths Toys in Europe. That suggests discounts on the LEGO City model may be hard to come by and you’ll potentially only be able to pick up the build from LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and at Smyths Toys.
Clocking in at 1,061-pieces, 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck (or Yellow Delivery Truck, if you prefer) is priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and is a suitably meta set all round. As well as a detachable brick-built truck cab with hinged bonnet and removeable roof, the LEGO City model includes a large trailer with opening side panels and rear doors for loading pallets, a functioning forklift truck, a hot-dog stand and four minifigures.
In addition, 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck also comes with what appear to be various stickered LEGO set tiles to be transported, including 60405 Emergency Rescue Helicopter, 60412 4×4 Fire Truck with Rescue Boat, 60419 Police Prison Island and 60430 Interstellar Spaceship.
You’ll be able to add 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck to your collection when the LEGO City set rolls into view on June 1 for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99.
