Rumoured LEGO Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile could be chance for perfect minifigure
The newly-rumoured 76328 Batman: Classic TV Series Batmobile may be the perfect opportunity for the most-detailed ’60s Batman minifigure so far.
A new rumour from Instagram user brick_clicker posits that a massive Classic TV Series Batmobile could be coming in October for $149.99 with 1,822 pieces. As well as including a giant model of the iconic Batmobile, it is said to also feature a single Batman minifigure.
Assuming that this rumoured Batman minifigure is also based on the classic TV series, 76328 Batman: Classic TV Series Batmobile could be the best chance yet at the perfect ’60s Batman minifigure. Two official LEGO Classic TV Series Batman minifigures have been released so far in 76052 Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave and later in 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile. While both are good depictions of the character, neither is perfect.
The 76052 Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave minifigure has dual-moulded legs but its colours aren’t as accurate as they could be compared to the source material, even down to the printing on the head underneath the cowl. The 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile minifigure fixes the colours but loses the dual-moulded legs.
Combining these two aspects for an exclusive minifigure in the rumoured 76328 Batman: Classic TV Series Batmobile could make for a great depiction of this iteration of the Caped Crusader, but there’s one other improvement that could be made in a set worth $149.99.
While the cowl pieces used in 76052 Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave and 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile worked well for the minifigures based on the Classic TV Series, the pointed ears are too high compared to the real costume and a brand new piece could amend this. Whether a $149.99 model would have enough extra budget for a fresh element is another question though.
For now, 76328 Batman: Classic TV Series Batmobile remains a rumour and all reported information should be taken with an appropriate level of caution in case any details turn out to be inaccurate or entirely false.
