LEGO Creator 66801 Springtime Animal Play Pack revealed

A new Walmart-exclusive set has been revealed, one that bundles together a trio of existing and new LEGO Creator builds.

Now that we’ve finally made it through January in one piece, it’s time to look ahead to what Spring 2025 has in store. The good news is that there are already a number of LEGO sets confirmed to be arriving in the months to come, with one retailer offering up a unique bundle of builds to celebrate the season.

Thanks to the official Building Instructions page, we now know that 66801 Springtime Animal Play Pack is on its way at some point, with Walmart Mexico already having a listing in place for the 382-piece LEGO Creator release.

Inside the box are a trio of existing sets in the shape of 30690 Easter Egg Painter Chick, 40709 Spring Animal Playground and 31140 Magical Unicorn. While the latter two builds launched in 2023 and 2024 respectively and are still widely available, 30690 Easter Egg Painter Chick is an all-new polybag (or paper bag) for 2025.

The Walmart-exclusive bundle combines the trio of LEGO Creator sets into one handy box, giving builders the option to assemble up to five different models. Note that the price shown on Walmart Mexico’s site does seem to be incorrect though at $687, so those in the US should be able to pick up the release for a more reasonable amount, assuming the listing eventually goes live in that region.

31140 Magical Unicorn also appeared in a previous Walmart-exclusive last year, with 66783 Colorful Animals Play Pack still available in the US for $34. It’s possible that 66801 Springtime Animal Play Pack may retail for a similar price, although that’s yet to be confirmed at the time of this writing.
