LEGO DC Character Encyclopedia New Edition first look

A first look at a selection of interior pages from the upcoming LEGO DC Character Encyclopedia New Edition has appeared online.

The LEGO DC Character Encyclopedia New Edition is due to arrive in a few months, offering comic book fans an updated version of the original 2016 book. In addition, the DK Books title will also include an exclusive minifigure in the shape of Val-Zod, the current Earth-2 version of Superman. This will be the first time the character has appeared in LEGO form, making the book an even more appealing purchase.

Now, thanks to a listing on Amazon, we’re getting out first look at a decent selection of interior pages from the LEGO DC Character Encyclopedia New Edition. These spreads show updated entries for some existing characters, as well as information on new additions such as the Golden Age version of The Flash. The sample pages also showcase characters from Matt Reeves’ The Batman, which landed in cinemas on Friday.

Entries in the Encyclopedia include information on a number of major (and lesser-known) DC characters, with their vital stats, the first LEGO set they appeared in, Did You Know? facts, minifigure secrets and much more. The LEGO DC Character Encyclopedia New Edition is listed as a 200-page hardcover which, strangely enough, is actually 8 pages less than the original version.
