WATCH: LEGO designer Jordan Scott breaks down his most iconic sets

LEGO designer Jordan Scott breaks down his most iconic sets in our latest YouTube video, from The Lord of the Rings and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Star Wars and The LEGO Movie.

Currently heading up the LEGO Ideas design team, Scott joined the LEGO Group just over a decade ago, and has had fingers in all sorts of pies during his varied career in Billund. And with that wealth of experience comes a wealth of fascinating insights into a huge range of LEGO sets – from 10237 Tower of Orthanc to 75087 Anakin’s Custom Jedi Starfighter.

Brick Fanatics sat down with Scott at the LEGO Ideas House in Billund – the home of the brick – to talk through each and every one of his most iconic sets. He had so much to say about each one that it really does make for an absorbing interview, with plenty of design secrets spilled along the way. Hit play below or head over to our YouTube channel to check it out.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
