LEGO designer makes internet's favourite raccoon from set

The internet's new favourite raccoon, Jimothy, has been made into a LEGO model using just the parts from an official set out now.

You might have seen a certain short-bodied raccoon doing the rounds on social media this week, named by the internet as Jimothy. Senior Design Manager Jordan Scott has decided to hop on the Jimothy trend by rebuilding the recent 31393 Grey Wolf into the beloved stout raccoon.

Though instructions or a guide have not been shared, it is confirmed that this only uses pieces for the 657-piece set, available now for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99. The design is based on the raccoon build from 31393 Grey Wolf, but with a suitably shorter body.

It was only a matter of time until there was a LEGO Jimothy in some form, as the beloved raccoon has been just about everywhere this week. At this point in the article, you either love LEGO Jimothy or are confused about what Jimothy is. Jimothy is a short-spined raccoon spotted in Seattle earlier this month, which has quickly gone viral.

It is believed by animal experts that Jimothy was born with a spinal deformity, but it is claimed that he is healthy for his species. Jimothy has been doing the rounds across pop culture this week, from Minecraft to Guild Wars 2.
