LEGO Disney 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera officially revealed
Pre-orders are now open for 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera, with the LEGO Disney 100 set having been officially revealed in full.
Thanks to a French retailer, we recently got our first look at yet another upcoming LEGO Disney 100 model, with what at the time was listed as 43230 A Homage to Walt Disney. Now the LEGO Group has fully pulled back the curtain on the centenary celebratory set, complete with the build’s actual title and pre-orders going live.

43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera will be launching on September 1 online and in-stores, with the 811-piece model priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. The LEGO Disney set recognises the extraordinary life of the man who started it all by offering up a brick-built vintage-style movie camera and a director’s clapperboard stand with space for minifigures of Walt Disney himself, monochromatic versions of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, plus the first-ever figures of Bambi and Dumbo.
Measuring 37cm high, 21cm wide and 19cm deep, 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera features a hand side crank, sliding matte box and lenses that can be turned. A hinged back panel can also be opened up, allowing for a minifigure to be placed inside a tiny recreation of Walt’s office.
The upcoming Disney 100 model also comes with a cellulose strip of film that features LEGO versions of 20 historic animated movies, as well as three printed screens to attach to a multiplane camera build on the clapperboard that reveals how Disney’s The Old Mill short was made.
43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera will be released on September 1 priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and can be pre-ordered from LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores right now.
