LEGO Disney Make & Take event coming to UK and Europe

LEGO stores in UK and Europe will host a Disney-themed Make & Take event, offering a smaller version of an upcoming set.

You can build your own miniature Disney Castle and take it home with you during special Make & Take events in LEGO Stores across the UK and Europe. Taking place between 10am and 12pm on July 1 and 12pm and 2pm on July 2, the buildable castle is a neat keepsake from a year full of Disney celebrations.

As well as building the tiny castle itself (pictured below), the free build will also come with its own circular stand, complete with the Disney 100 logo. The castle is built in Disney’s familiar colours of blue, silver, and sandy yellow, with accents of gold on the turrets, reflecting the same colour scheme as the much larger and newly revealed 43222 Disney Castle.

Make & Take events are free to take part in, but there will be limited availability and castle builds will only be on hand on a first-come, first-served basis. To help make the builds go further, they will be limited to one per person and are free to build and take home within those time slots. You can check to find your nearest LEGO store here.

This comes as one of the LEGO Group’s biggest celebrations of any external franchise, with something new getting revealed as part of its Disney 100 celebrations almost every month of 2023.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.

Terribly organised event… turned up both days for the start of the event, to be told that all slots were gone… my nearest store said today that they had 130 sets… knowing the demand this was shockingly low!
It should have been a mini-build on the Bricks & Pieces wall that you paid for, or Disney should have advertised is as “the first 130 people…”
All this doesn’t help an incredibly disappointed daughter!
