LEGO DREAMZzz SDCC promos pop up on the secondary market

A number of LEGO DREAMZzz promotional items given away at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 have popped up for sale on eBay.

San Diego Comic-Con 2023 is now all but a distant memory, with the only real LEGO exclusive available at the show being a Baby Riyu variant figure with glow-in-the-dark eyes. However, despite the lack of any unique sets up for grabs at the pop culture event, a selection of goodies from a LEGO DREAMZzz panel at SDCC are now up for sale on the secondary market.

Searching for ‘LEGO DREAMZzz’ on eBay reveals that a number of unique promotional items based around the theme can be yours, if you have enough cash that is. A handful of listings for LEGO DREAMZzz IMDB Boat Party swag are currently available that include a tote bag, magazine, sticker sheet, door hanger and eye mask.

Of more interest to collectors might be two mini make and take models based around a pair of LEGO DREAMZzz characters. 6485747 Bunshu M&T is a 34-piece version of Izzie’s cuddly toy, while 6485744 Zblob M&T is a 43-piece model of Matteo’s gooey green friend. Both promotional sets are packaged in zip-lock bags with instructions and curiously enough have misspelt names, for some strange reason.

Neither build is labelled as a San Diego Comic-Con 2023 exclusive, so it’s possible they may appear at LEGO Store make and take events at some point. In the meantime, prices for the LEGO DREAMZzz goodie bags on eBay currently range from around £69 to £279, so only dedicated fans with deep pockets might want to pick them up.

A second season of the LEGO DREAMZzz animated series was recently confirmed at SDCC 2023, although a trailer revealed at the show has yet to be released online. A total of 11 sets based around the new theme will also be dropping on August 1 on LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores.
