First look at LEGO DREAMZzz 30636 Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape
We now have our first look at what’s included in the upcoming LEGO DREAMZzz 30636 Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape promotional polybag.
LEGO DREAMZzz will be making its debut in less than a week, with 10 initial episodes of an original animated series debuting for free on YouTube on May 15. The show will set the scene for the upcoming theme, with 11 sets confirmed to be releasing on August 1, 2023.
In addition, a listing for a LEGO DREAMZzz promotional polybag was recently added to the official Building Instructions page, revealing that 30636 Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape will also be arriving at some point in 2023. Now, thanks to same page, we have our first look at what’s included with the set and it’s pretty much exactly as the product’s name suggests.
The polybag includes a brick-built spider foe, with a predominantly purple, grey and green colour scheme. We’re hoping its clawed legs are glow-in-the-dark elements, but we won’t know for sure until we have the set in hand. 30636 Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape also comes with a tiny figure of Izzie’s favourite blue rabbit caught in some sort of a trap, plus Mateo’s slimy green companion. The former transforms into a much larger version, as seen in 71453 Izzie and Bunchu the Bunny, while the latter has an alternate robot form showcased in 71454 Mateo and Z-Blob the Robot.
There’s currently no word on the piece count, price or release date for the LEGO DREAMZzz polybag set, but we’re hoping it will launch alongside the rest of the first wave of sets on August 1, 2023.
