The LEGO Explorer magazine is coming to an end

It seems that the LEGO Explorer magazine’s days are numbered as subscribers have been informed that they won’t receive any further issues.

One of the more recent LEGO magazine launches, alongside NINJAGO, Super Heroes, City and Friends, the LEGO Explorer magazine has notified its subscribers, including Promobricks, that the latest issue will be the last. A reported discussion with customer service claims to verify this.

The LEGO Explorer Magazine is one of the few to regularly include full-sized, specially designed polybags, usually focusing on history or otherwise educational topics. However, it has been known to include more outlandish builds, including a time machine.

The full notice provided to subscribers states that they will be contacted soon regarding their remaining credit, which would usually go towards future issues.

The LEGO Explorer magazine is available throughout Europe, and it seems likely that everywhere will be affected by this change.

Its polybags never included any exclusive pieces, so you should be able to make any of them with bricks in your collection. For reference, they are numbered 11938 to 11978.

There are still several LEGO magazines available throughout Europe, from Minecraft to Star Wars to NINJAGO, including models, minifigures and more.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
