Everything else LEGO fans can see at Comic-Con 2022 without exclusives

With exclusives reported to be over, there’s still plenty for LEGO fans to look forward to at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, including Marvel.

Following the recent report that the LEGO Group is said to be turning away from Comic-Con exclusive minifigures and models, you might be less enthusiastic about the 2022 event, even though there are still three days of the show remaining at the time of writing. However, without exclusives, you still look forward to plenty of news and other activities at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.

Attendants can find lots to do at the LEGO Group’s booth, including a Super Mario photo opportunity with a moving Bowser model and a free copy of 11012 Creative White Bricks for playing a brick-catching minigame where everyone is a winner. This activity seems likely to be subject to stock levels, though that’s not been confirmed.

Of course, not everyone reading this report will be in San Diego for the event and for those not lucky enough to be visiting the show floor in person, there are several panels you can tune into as well. Two are confirmed to feature LEGO for brick-based entertainment and one for world-building.

However, with the history between the LEGO Group and Marvel, it might be wise to tune into the superhero-centric panels as announcements and updates on projects in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be coming.

Based on the current schedule, the Marvel Studios panel at 5pm PST on July 23 seems like the safest bet for any major announcements. This panel may be streamed as part of Marvel Live! on Marvel’s FacebookYouTube and Twitch, but we’ll keep you updated if there are any big announcements as well.

With all that in mind, there’s still a lot to look forward to at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 – whether you are attending in person or watching at home – without exclusive sets and minifigures. There might even be more set reveals as four Avatar builds have recently been revealed for Comic-Con.
