LEGO Fortnite barely beats Marvel to new minifigure

LEGO Fortnite has barely beaten LEGO Marvel to the punch with one of its new 2024 minifigures as a certain X-Men member featured in-game first.

76281 X-Men X-Jet launches on January 1, 2024, for £74.99 / $84.99 / €84.99 with new minifigures of Cyclops, Rogue and Magneto – who might look different. While Rogue is the only minifigure of this selection who is receiving her debut LEGO outing, 76281 X-Men X-Jet is launching a little too late to take that title completely.

LEGO Fortnite launched with over 1,200 LEGO styles for in-game outfits, including those for Marvel and the line-up most recently added Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles minifigures as well. While not all Marvel skins have received LEGO styles, Rogue was available as a digital minifigure for anyone who owned the outfit on December 7.

That's not even a month before the launch of 76281 X-Men X-Jet, just beating the new Marvel model to the punch on one of its biggest highlights. Of course, the Rogue LEGO style is only digital and there are quite a few differences between it and the debut physical minifigure for the character.

While LEGO Fortnite has beaten LEGO Marvel, just about, the first physical Rogue minifigure is undoubtedly notable, especially considering how rare X-Men minifigures are outside of Wolverine.

LEGO Fortnite is available now and Rogue's LEGO style will require an additional purchase when the skin is back in the shop. Otherwise, 76281 X-Men X-Jet launches on January 1, 2024, for £74.99 / $84.99 / €84.99.
