LEGO Fortnite collaboration teased, including model in-game

The rumoured LEGO Fortnite collaboration may be imminent as teasers have appeared online, including a LEGO model in Fortnite itself.

Rumour has it that the LEGO Group may be partnering with Epic Games for a collaboration in Fortnite, including an in-game event and what appears to be at least one set. This has yet to be confirmed though.

The Llama model that previously appeared on LEGO.com has now surfaced on the LEGO Group’s social media channels, suggesting that something is coming soon. Whether or not this could be its own set is unknown, though it admittedly would be a small one.

However, the Fortnite connection is more tangible than just a social media post, as the same Llama model is appearing in the Fortnite lobby now.

Initial rumours for a collaboration with Fortnite posit that players will be able to create their own worlds, as well as view and join other players’ worlds. The exact details have yet to be confirmed but for now, there looks to be some kind of LEGO x Fortnite partnership in the works. For now, it may be wise to not expect LEGO Fortnite sets, beyond the Llama that has appeared on LEGO.com to avoid potential disappointment. Something in-game seems likely though.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
