LEGO Fortnite parodies GTA 6 with latest tease
Another tease for the next LEGO Fortnite update has surfaced, parodying something no one expected the LEGO Group to reference officially.
After content creators received a package of LEGO Fortnite items certainly teasing a storm-centric update and more subtly teasing city content, the LEGO Fortnite team has added more weight to the initial teases for the latter with a new social media post.
The post includes a pair of minifigures leaning on a car with what is undoubtedly a city street by a beach in the background, referencing the key art for Grand Theft Auto 6 as well as a meme inspired by the game series.

Exactly what this is teasing isn’t clear but the car is new and doesn’t use the existing parts present for creating vehicles in LEGO Fortnite. This infers that this may be a LEGO Island similar to Tilted Towers Tycoon, but that’s only speculation. The presence of a new car and new buildings in the background indicate this is teasing something either way as such assets likely wouldn’t be created for a one-off post.
The fact that the LEGO Fortnite team are even referencing GTA 6 is surprising too since the series is known for its violence and mature references, the likes of which the LEGO Group don’t currently cover.
The packages sent out to content creators earlier this week teased some kind of update coming later this month and hopefully, we don’t have long to wait until we know exactly what is being hinted at by this post.
