LEGO Friends 42639 mansion rumoured price and release date

The massive LEGO Friends mansion, 42639, now has a rumoured price and release date that might make it the new biggest set in the theme.

Brick_clicker, as reposted by 1414falconfan, reports that the previously revealed 42639 LEGO Friends set will cost $199.99 and could be released on January 1. While there’s no word on the piece count, that would make it by far the most expensive LEGO Friends set of all time, beating 41704 Main Street Building and 41732 Downtown Flower and Design Stores at $159.99 each.

With a price like that, it would likely top the piece count for both massive LEGO Friends sets too. 41704 Main Street Building has 1,682 and 41732 Downtown Flower and Design Stores has 2,010 elements. That would be an appropriate title for the set as 42639 has all of the original LEGO Friends characters as adults reuniting for the first time in the theme’s reboot.

This information is still only a rumour at the time of writing and should be taken with caution until announced otherwise. In the meantime, we can look forward to 42639 in the future thanks to a retailer, where it was revealed alongside four other models.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
