LEGO Senior Designer Justin Ramsden and LEGO Designer George Gilliatt talked about how the team originally came up with two miniature concept models, ahead of the final look of the set. With everyone excited by the idea of creating Gringotts Bank and placing the vaults below, an eighth scale build was first constructed using just a handful of elements before a quarter scale version was produced.
