LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village needs to bring four minifigures back

Four specific minifigures need to return in the rumoured LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village set, one of which was easily missed.

Rumour has it that a huge LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village set is coming this September, as fateful_04 states that 76457 Hogsmeade Village is on the way with 3,228 pieces. With no price at the time of writing, there are two clear paths for the rumoured set to take – a microscale recreation or a minifigure-scale model.

Once further rumoured details arrive, precisely which path is being followed should become clear, but in the meantime, the latter presents the perfect opportunity for the LEGO Group to bring back four exclusive minifigures and touch up their designs accordingly.

2021’s 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit provided the first minifigures of Mr. Flume and Mrs. Flume, who operate the Honeydukes sweet shop in the village. The set also hosted the first minifigure of Madam Rosmerta, who later appeared in 2023’s 76418 LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar.

The Hogsmeade-focused Advent calendar also provided the only minifigure of Aberforth Dumbledore in an unusually purple ensemble. This set was only available for a few months before retiring, and many have likely missed the chance to grab this exclusive minifigure.

The huge rumoured LEGO Hogsmeade set would almost certainly be a chance to revisit these four recent minifigures and offer fans another chance at adding the characters to their collection. Even in the case of a microscale take on Hogsmeade, such as 76444 Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops, nanofigures of these citizens would be a great alternative.

Beyond the scope of the various Harry Potter games, one of which takes place centuries before the movies, these four characters are some of the only named citizens of Hogsmeade and would be interesting to see how the LEGO Group fills out the rest of a Hogsmeade model, either with minifigures or nanofigures.

Take the rumour of 76457 Hogsmeade Village with plenty of caution for now until an official announcement is made. Here’s what else is rumoured for LEGO Harry Potter this year.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
