LEGO Harry Potter’s modular Hogwarts sets are forming a bigger picture

A graphic has incorporated the latest LEGO Harry Potter reveal to create a minifigure-scale Hogwarts Castle.

With the recent first look at 76415 The Battle of Hogwarts, the current modular system for Hogwarts is expanding even further. Although the layout for arguably the most climactic scene of the entire Harry Potter franchise is pretty flat and bland, it does complete the courtyard of a minifigure-scale castle.

We’ve already explained how some of the latest LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts system sets fit together in detail, but now a handy graphic has made the overall effect even clearer. Thanks to Lucky Bricks on Instagram, as reported by AshnFlash, we can now see what a minifigure-scale version of the wizarding school could look like, in a very similar structure to 71043 Hogwarts Castle.

With the Great Hall, various towers, the main courtyard, and special features like the Chamber of Secrets included in both, it’s easy to try and draw a comparison between the two options. In terms of cost, buying all of the sets included in Lucky Bricks’ version of the castle would set you back £442.93, not too far off 71043 Hogwarts Castle’s price of £409.99. Considering there’s less than £35 price difference, you’d get many. of the same features at a greater scale, not to mention all the minifigures.

What’s more, there’s more you can add to Lucky Bricks’ suggestion, such as 76387 Hogwarts: Fluffy Encounter and 76395: Hogwarts First Flying Lesson, both designed to pair neatly with 76386 Hogwarts: Polyjuice Potion Mistake. Indeed, virtually any of the recent LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts sets can be incorporated if you’re creative enough (and don’t mind ignoring slight differences between the sets, such as in the colour differences between various window lattice elements switching between brown, gold, and white.

You’d need a hefty amount of space to display all of these sets combined together, but if a minfiigure-scale version of Hogwarts Castle has been your dream, this is definitely a good guide for how to set out the castle’s foundations.
