LEGO Harry Potter wins Licensed Product of the Year award

At the UK Toy Industry Awards, which were held at London Toy Fair 2019 last night, LEGO Harry Potter win the Licensed Product of the Year award.

Last night saw the UK toy industry gather to celebrate the past 12 months at the Toy Industry Awards. During the night, awards were given for the best products and retailers, with the LEGO Group winning the Licensed Product Range of the Year award for LEGO Harry Potter. The flagship set in the theme bring 71043 Hogwarts Castle.

The Toy Retailer of the Year award went to The Entertainer. Other winners included L.O.L. Surprise and Character Options. The event was arranged by the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) and the Toy Retailers Association (TRA).

“Our industry makes amazing and innovative toys that inspire joy and development in children. It was a difficult process to choose the few that could be shortlisted for a coveted award, and more difficult still to pick the winners from a competitive field of great products,” said Alan Simpson, Chairman of the TRA. “On behalf of the Toy Retailers Association, I congratulate all those that were shortlisted and won awards for great products, licenses and for building strong relationships with retail partners to the benefit of our whole industry.”
