LEGO Icons 10312 Jazz Club modular building officially revealed
The LEGO Group has finally unveiled 10312 Jazz Club, the latest addition to the Modular Buildings Collection arriving in 2023.
Yours to buy in just over two weeks, the 2,899-piece set combines a jazz club with a pizzeria and a tailor’s workshop, swapping out the grounded hues of 10297 Boutique Hotel and 10278 Police Station for bold blue, cool yellow and dark red. The jazz club measures 20 studs wide and features a dressing room and manager’s office on the upper storeys, while the pizzeria’s top floor is where you’ll find the tailor. There’s also a brick-built greenhouse on the roof.
As you’d expect from a jazz club, the ground floor includes a stage with brick-built instruments and a seating area, and the set includes a total of eight minifigures to fill the scene: a jazz singer, drummer, bassist, pizza chef, pizza delivery driver, club manager, magician and tailor. Accessories include a saxophone, microphone, double bass, scissors, pizza, drumsticks and a rabbit.
The press release for 10312 Jazz Club claims it’s bringing the theme of music to the Modular Buildings Collection for the first time, apparently forgetting the music shop in 10255 Assembly Square, but this is technically the first time we’ve had a venue to specifically play music in. The final building stands 30cm tall by 26cm wide, which puts it shorter than 10278 Police Station and roughly on a par with 10270 Bookshop.
10312 Jazz Club will slide right in alongside the rest of the current modular building line-up, which you can find in the table below. None of these sets are retiring in 2022, so they’ll be available to purchase at the same time come January.
