LEGO Icons 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell may hint at future D2C sets

A subtle hint at potential future direct-to-consumer sets may well be hidden away in LEGO Icons 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell.

The latest LEGO Icons set is now available for VIP members, with 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell taking fans back to Middle-earth for the first time since 2013. The 6,167-piece model is a beast of a build that’s priced at £429.99 / $499.99 / €499.99 and will see a wider release from March 8.

One of the biggest LEGO sets of all time, 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell is a staggeringly-detailed recreation of the iconic location from Peter Jackson’s beloved movie trilogy, one that also includes a whopping 15 minifigures. LEGO VIP members who purchase 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell can also grab a free copy of 40630 Frodo & Gollum, although the bonus LEGO BrickHeadz offer is only available until March 7, while stocks last.
