LEGO Icons 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook officially revealed

LEGO Icons 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook has been officially revealed, offering a brick-built display piece to add to your bookshelf.

Following a tease that something to do with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic detective was on its way from Barnes & Noble, the LEGO Group has now officially revealed 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook. Due for release on June 1, the 1,359-piece set will retail for £109.99 in the UK, $129.99 in the US, and €119.99 in Europe.

As the name suggests, this isn’t a LEGO set to display just anywhere, but is designed to slot into a bookshelf. However, there are details on the sides that make it a dynamic display on any shelf, books or no. 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook includes five minifigures: the astute Sherlock Holmes, his loyal companion Dr Watson, the enigmatic Irene Adler, the cunning Professor Moriarty and Baker Street newcomer, Paige.

When slid into place between books, the brick-buitl frame acts like a window into Baker Street, featuring a bookshop with a revolving display window, a shadowy terraced residence with a sliding front door, mysteries and clues to uncover, and – of course – a detailed recreation of Sherlock Holmes’ 221B apartment, complete with a cosy fireplace, clue board and his beloved violin.
