LEGO Ideas 21350 Jaws price and release date rumoured

The LEGO Ideas Jaws set is rumoured to be expensive, though not too much for the theme, and its release date may have been detailed.

There’s a LEGO Ideas set on the way based on Jaws thanks to fan designer Johnny Campbell and Redditor Clay_bricks (via brick_clicker) now reports that it could be arriving on August 3 with 1,497 pieces. It’s also now rumoured to cost $159.99, on par with 21310 Old Fishing Store.

That retired LEGO Ideas set features 2,049 pieces though it was released before the recent price rises, possibly explaining the rumoured piece count and price of the Jaws model. The rumoured piece count is near that of 21347 Red London Telephone Box for comparison too. While the price may seem expensive, it’s fairly typical for LEGO Ideas sets, though in 2024 they have been lower in price than usual.

Exactly what the set could look like is still unknown but the original project features the Orca boat, the shark itself and three minifigures. Take all rumoured information with caution until the LEGO Group officially confirms anything for the upcoming LEGO Ideas Jaws set.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

good lord, but will it still be a separate orca, shark and minifigs or a bloody diorama thing?!

I totally agree! Making the first LEGO set based on the movie Jaws a diorama set is completely uncalled for. It should be the boat, the men, and the shark; no more, no less.
