Every LEGO Ideas set in production – March 2024
The upcoming LEGO Dungeons & Dragons set combined with two LEGO Insiders rewards paints a much different picture of LEGO Ideas’ future.
LEGO Ideas’ selection of in-production sets remains full and varied despite the reveal of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale and its upcoming release next week. The list has changed for more than just removing the D&D model though as despite one set leaving the production stage, two more have started the process.
21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale releases on April 1 for LEGO Insiders or April 4 widely for £314.99 / $359.99 / €359.99 and is inspired by Lucas Bolt’s Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End. While much of the project has changed for the official design, the fan designer is featured in an upcoming video airing on LEGO.com on April 6.
While we wait for the next LEGO Ideas launch, here’s an updated reminder of what else is to come from the fan-inspired theme.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Simon Scott’s The Nightmare Before Christmas was approved in the second 2022 review and celebrates the timeless movie with a recreation of Halloweentown and several characters from the iconic movie. Rumour has it that it could be released in September, but nothing has been announced.
Jaws
The Jaws project by Johnny Campbell was chosen for a LEGO Ideas set in the third 2022 review. 2024 is the 50th anniversary of the book that inspired the iconic movie as well as the 50th anniversary of when filming started. Rumour has it that this model could launch in August though this has not been confirmed.
Cat
Damian Andres’s upcoming LEGO Ideas Cat set is still rumoured to release in June using 1,710 pieces for $99.99. Their original submission features 1,972 pieces in comparison.
Reading, Reading, Reading
FR_AN’s Reading, Reading, Reading is getting a gift-with-purchase thanks to a challenge that ran for Singles’ Day. There’s no word on when we might be able to expect it at the time of writing.
Disney Magic
2A2A’s Disney Magic celebrates the 100th anniversary of Disney following the anniversary in 2023. It’s rumoured to release in October with 1,103 pieces though this remains unconfirmed.
Twilight: Cullen House
Nick Micheels’ Twilight: Cullen House is on the way too, inspired by the characters and house from the Twilight franchise. As this was approved for a set in December 2023, it might not be on shelves for a while at the time of writing.
The Botanical Garden
Valentina Bima’s The Botanical Garden was also approved for a LEGO Ideas set in December 2023 and it is the first modular LEGO Ideas submission to be approved to date.
Knowledge is Power
Danielbradleyy’s Knowledge is Power is confirmed to be getting a LEGO Ideas set thanks to the most recent STEM challenge. It features a rocket and more builds rising out of a book as well as three minifigures.
Micro Rail Command Center
Newly added to the list, Falkorich‘s Micro Rail Command Center is coming as part of a cosmic contest and will be a LEGO Insiders reward in the future.
Moon Car
EnchantingNoodle‘s Moon Car was the other winning entry in the LEGO Ideas cosmos contest and is similarly going to be transformed into a LEGO Insiders Reward in the future.
