A Modular Building fan design has shot past 10,000 votes on LEGO Ideas, starting off the third review stage of the year.
It's the first design from Anon22 to make it past 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas and it's the very first submission of 2023's third review period, hot on the heels of the second review closing its doors. Modular Heritage Museum is home to dozens of brick-built, miniature artifacts, all dotted across its three floors (the upper two of which are a bed and breakfast for visitors).
The inside is plated with red and cream bricks, providing the perfect backdrop for objects that all tell stories from other official Modular Buildings, such as a radiator like the one in 10815 Green Grocer and an old movie camera from 10232 Palace Cinema to a vinyl that was recorded in the studio in 10260 Downtown Diner and a suitcase left in 10297 Boutique Hotel.
When it comes to the exterior, there are plenty more features to enjoy, whether that's the brick-built vintage car or the flowering Dogwood Tree that gave the bed and breakfast its name, the Dogwood Bed and Breakfast. If you look closely, you can also see that the fan design has taken a leaf out of other modular playbooks, including a cat to big up the animal population.
The fate of Modular Heritage Museum now lies with the LEGO Ideas team, but that deliberation won't start until January of next year. We'll have to wait and see how many other sets join it in the third and final review stage of 2023.
