LEGO Ideas 21357 Luxo Jr. Disney Pixar lamp officially revealed
LEGO Ideas 21357 Luxo Jr. has been officially revealed, bringing the iconic Disney Pixar lamp to the LEGO system for the very first time.
Originally designed by LEGO fan Toby Brett, the LEGO Group and Pixar have collaborated to bring his design to life in the form of 21357 Luxo Jr. The display-ready build is made up of 613 pieces and is available to pre-order now ahead of its release on June 1, retailing at £59.99 in the UK, $69.99 in the US, and €69.99 in Europe.
“I’m a huge fan of all the Pixar films, which were a big part of my childhood and Luxo Jr. is the mascot that perfectly sums up my love for these movies,” said Toby. “I spent a lot of time looking at photos of Luxo Jr. to make my model as screen-accurate and recognisable as possible.”
The lamp will be instantly recognisable to anyone who’s ever watched a Pixar movie, with it being a staple of the movie introductions since Luxo Jr. first appeared in 1986. 21357 Luxo Jr. aims to recreate bouncing, hopping and rotating movements in bricks.

The buildable display model is fully articulated and includes a brick-built Pixar ball, which nostalgic fans can display with the lamp standing on it as if squashing it, inspired by the 1986 short Pixar film. Additionally, the Pixar ball opens up to reveal hidden easter eggs inspired by popular Disney and Pixar movies, such as Up, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc. Toy Story, and Finding Nemo.
LEGO Ideas 21357 Luxo Jr. is available for pre-order right now before it hits shelves from June 1, priced at £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99 for 613 pieces.
