LEGO Ideas Polaroid Camera contest wants your brick-built memories

The LEGO Ideas team has revealed its first contest of 2024, with a unique Polaroid Camera challenge based around your own brick-built memories.

It was a very busy year for the LEGO Ideas team in 2023 and the next 12 months are already shaping up to be just as hectic. Today saw 21346 Family Tree officially revealed and due out February 1 for £79.99 / $79.99 / €89.99, with rumours of three more upcoming sets hinted at earlier this week.

Now comes the first LEGO Ideas challenge of 2024, with the team throwing down the gauntlet to creative builders and offering up some very impressive prizes. The latest contest is based around the recently-released 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera and requires entrants to create their own picture perfect memories.

Submissions can be 2D or 3D but need to fit within a white brick-built Polaroid frame, with dimensions shown above. Designs have to be based on scenes and memories that are special to you and recreated in LEGO form. The completed build can be larger than the frame itself and slightly overlap it, but the frame still needs to be clear and obvious.
